Ticket Types

We’ve made our ticket range simpler and much easier to buy.

These are our Caledonian Sleeper Fixed Advance and Caledonian Sleeper Flexible tickets. They are only valid for travel on the Caledonian Sleeper and include a reservation for your chosen type of accommodation. These tickets offer great value for money if your journey is entirely on our services.

Our Caledonian Sleeper tickets include both your travel and your seat or room reservation – there’s no need to buy a supplement. You can buy these tickets up to 12 months before you travel from this website or from our Guest Service Centre. These are single (one-way) tickets; to make a return journey, just buy two single tickets. Full railcard and discounts are available too.

For more details on your ticket and on which services it is valid, visit the National Rail Enquiries website. Please note that in the event of disruption to Caledonian Sleeper services, we do not  have contact details for guests who book with third-party retailers or ticket offices.

Flexipass and Berth Supplements

If you already have an inter-available ticket, and would like to travel on the Caledonian Sleeper, please check our Berth Supplements section for details of any restrictions and check your ticket is valid for travel on our service. Berth supplements are available to buy on our website or through our Guest Service Centre.

If you travel regularly then our Flexipass ticket is ideal. It includes 10 First Class single tickets valid in either direction between London Euston and any station directly served by Caledonian Sleeper services. Flexipass tickets are valid for 12 months and can be bought up to one month in advance. Our new Online Flexipass will make managing your journey even simpler.

Please also contact the Guest Service if you are travelling in a group of nine or more, to obtain discounted rates; have a BritRail pass; or have a staff privilege travel card.

Tickets and reservations are valid for the date and train service you choose. If you hold a Flexible ticket or Berth supplement and wish to change your travel date or obtain a refund, please read our Refunds section.

You can either download your tickets as a PDF to print at home or show staff on your mobile device, have your tickets posted to you, or collect them from any ticket vending machine on the National Rail network. Flexipass (except our online Flexipass) and Group tickets are only available to be posted.
