Guest Information Pledges

When travelling on any form of transport sometimes things don’t always go to plan. Should your plans be disrupted when you are travelling with Caledonian Sleeper we want to provide the most accurate information to you as quickly as possible to help you make informed choices about your travel plans.

To support this aim we have been working closely with other rail operators, Network Rail and the Rail Delivery Group as part of the rail industry’s new ‘Smarter Information, Smarter Journeys Programme’.

This initiative aims to achieve higher levels of guest experience through the provision of better guest information, and by providing our guests with all the information needed at the right time and in a format that’s suitable for their requirements.

The rail industry has now agreed on a set of pledges which outline what good looks like, and what guests can expect before, during and after their journey by train. Of course not all of the pledges outlined will apply exactly in the way stated given the unique overnight service that Caledonian Sleeper is compared to other train operating companies.
