Opening Times

The Inverness Castle Experience is open year‑round, generally from 10:00 to 16:00. Visitors should check for the latest times before arrival.

Tickets & Highlander Pass

Choose from standard entry tickets or upgrade to the Highlander Pass, offering Highland Council residents unlimited entry from October–March and 10% off at The Saltire Bistro and Castle Shop (excluding alcoholic drinks).

Accessibility

Most areas are fully accessible, including the South Tower rooftop terrace. Only the Flag Tower remains inaccessible.

Getting Here

Located in central Inverness (IV2 3EG), the castle is an easy walk from the city centre and accessible by bicycle, bus or car.
