On-board tips
Luggage / Storage
You have access to lockers which are located above your seat. These are suitable for small personal items only.
Each guest can bring onto the train, free of charge, three items of personal luggage – two items (such as a suitcase or rucksack, not bigger than 30cm x 70cm x 90cm) plus one item of hand luggage.
If you have any larger luggage items you can let our on-board teams know and they show you where to store it in a secure area.
Sleep Kit
You will receive a Sleep Kit containing an eye mask and earplugs. You will find this on your seat when you board.
Sockets
At your seat you will find a USB charging port and plug socket.
Please do not use the socket for any other devices i.e. hairdryers and straighteners.
Wi-fi
Though we have Wi-fi available on our service, the geography of our route means that sometimes we can’t guarantee Wi-fi will be available for your whole journey. If you want to watch or listen to something while you travel we advise downloading before you travel.
Please think about other people and wear headphones if you are listening to music or watching videos.
The highland landscape is the best entertainment we can offer, so why not put your phone down and take in the rugged landscape?
Good to know
Guests travelling on the seated coach to and from Fort William will be required to swap coaches at Edinburgh. Our on-board crew will be on hand to answer any questions. If you are travelling on this route with a bicycle or additional luggage you will be required to move your items during this formation change.
You will be travelling on a railway line so there will be the occasional bump. The train will stop and start a few times during the evening.

Unfortunately, pets cannot travel in our Seated Carriage, however we can accept assistance dogs.
