Spean Bridge

Situated between the Great Glen and Glen Spean, Spean Bridge is a village just north of Fort William known as the crossroad of the Highlands. During the Second World War nearby Achnagarry Castle was used as a Commando Basic Training Centre. Around a mile to the west of the village is the famous Commando memorial and panoramic viewpoint. The area is a haven for outdoor activities available and the Great Glen Way and West Highland Way pass through the village.
