
Kirkcaldy
A coastal town in Fife, Kirkcaldy is famed for its Links Market, the largest street fair in Europe and held every year in April, which has been held on the town for over 700 years. The town is set on a large curved beach and is home to the formal gardens of Beveridge Park. The town was birthplace and home to economist Adam Smith, author of The Wealth of Nations, published in 1776.
