Dalmuir
Located to the west of Clydebank, Dalmuir is a lowland Scots form of the Gaelic for “big field.” Famous for shipbuilding, the former Naval Construction Yard built HMS Argus, the world’s first aircraft carrier with a full-length flight deck.
The village sits on the Forth and Clyde Canal and is home to Europe’s only drop lock, and just a short drive away you will find the stunning landscapes of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, offering outdoor adventures and scenic beauty.
