Food and Drink

The Caledonian Sleeper is a celebration of the Best of Scotland - and food and drink plays a vital role in that.

Guests in First Class can choose to eat in the relaxed and sociable environments of our Lounge Car or, if they prefer, can enjoy their meal in the comfort of their own cabin.

For those travelling with family members, we have a tasty incentive - kids under the age of 12 eat free!

And remember, when you purchase your train ticket for the Caledonian Sleeper, you can pre-book your meal - giving you something extra to look forward to.

We regularly update our menus to reflect the best seasonal produce. Below is the story of some of our local suppliers.

When looking to taste the best of Scotland, where better to look than in the heart of the country’s rich natural larder?
