Help: Buying Tickets

If you have more questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us
  • We take security and fraud very seriously; all credit and debit card holders are subject to validation by ourselves and the card issuer when placing orders through

  • Create an online account with us and manage your online sleeper bookings. You can check your travel information, store cards for faster payment, refund bookings and resend your confirmation emails. Without an account, to refund a booking you will need to send in your tickets to the Guest Service Centre.

  • We ask this at the beginning of the booking process as it may be relevant if you decide to travel in our Standard Class or Seated accommodation.

In our Standard shared occupancy rooms, unless both beds in the room are booked by you or your party, you may have to share with another guest. If this happens, we will make sure you only have to share with an adult of the same sex.

Also, if you are travelling alone in our seated coach, we try to group guests by sex. If you ask us, we will always do our best to make sure that you do not sit next to someone of the opposite sex.

Our First Class rooms are recommended if you prefer to guarantee your privacy.

Please note our On Board Hosts are available throughout the journey.

  • There is no Saturday night Caledonian Sleeper service. However, in each direction there are stations where sleeper services call early on Saturday mornings. Trains stop at these stations if you are:

    • Heading North from Watford Junction
    • Heading South from Falkirk, Carstairs, Carlisle
  • First Class -  Guests travelling in First Class will be able to enjoy the Caledonian Sleeper at its best. The private, air-conditioned room is the most comfortable way to travel. Standard Class  -  Accommodating up to two people, the Standard Class room is ideal if you are travelling with someone or if you’re happy to share. Couples are permitted to book together but if you book on your own, we will ensure you are sharing with someone of the same sex. For more information click here.

Standard Class Seat - A seated ticket is another comfortable way to travel on the Sleeper. You have room to stretch your legs, work through the night or drift off to sleep. Buffet services are also available.

Flexipass Carnet - A Flexipass carnet is a book of ten First Class single (one way) tickets between London and any station directly served by our Caledonian Sleeper services. For more information click here
