Lost Property

Our staff hand all items left on our trains to Lost Property at our Destination Stations. We always try to do this as quickly as possible but it can sometimes take up to 72 hours before lost property ready for collection. We throw away perishable items immediately.

London Euston:
For all belongings left on southbound trains to London Euston, please contact London Euston Lost Property on 0330 024 0215.

Glasgow and Edinburgh:
Property left on our trains north to Glasgow and Edinburgh are taken to the Lost Property department at Glasgow Central Station, which can be contacted on 0141 221 8597.

Fort William:
Lost property handed into Fort William station is kept on site for up to seven days before being transferred to Glasgow Queen Street Lost Property, which can be contacted on 0141 335 3276.

Inverness and Aberdeen:
Property left on trains arriving into Inverness or Aberdeen is kept by Lost Property at the destination station.

What time can I board the train?
All of our boarding times can be found at the top of each service timetable in our Tickets and Timetables section.
What is included in the Sleep Pack?

All guests travelling with us receive a complementary Sleep Pack. 
Each pack includes an eye mask and ear plugs. Additional items such as Arran toiletries are also included in packs for guests booked into rooms.

What luggage and cycle accommodation do you offer?

We offer secure storage space within the Seated Sleeper coach for up to six cycles on most routes, or three cycles on services from Inverness. We do require reservations for cycles, but they are available free of charge. We cannot accommodate tandem bicycles.
Oversize luggage can also be stored in this area if there is space, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Is there any assistance for disabled passengers?

If you need assistance for your journey, please contact our Guest Service Centre at the earliest opportunity so we can have this arranged.

Do I have to make you aware if I am travelling with an assistance dog?

Please let us know by 15.00 on the day of travel that you will be travelling with an assistance dog. For more information please see our Guest Charter and Disabled People's Protection Policy (DPPP).

Are domestic pets welcome?

You can take up to 2 pets in a 'Pet Friendly Compartment' for a £25 fee. Soon these will be available to purchase with your travel ticket on the website. In the mean time please contact our Guest Service Centre team.

Do the trains have showers?

There are currently no showers on board sleeper services. However, you’ll find shower facilities available at the stations below.

Standard class and seated guests can purchase shower tokens to use the below facilities from our On Board Hosts for £5 per token.

Can I pre-order a meal?

When placing your order you will be given the option to book a meal, which will be available from our lounge car on the day of travel. Unfortunately the meals selection page is not included for those travelling in seated accommodation.

A buffet service is available for travellers who hold a seated ticket.
