Where to Stay
Across London you’ll find a great selection of hotel brands suitable for all budgets that will accommodate your pet.
The Milestone Hotel in Hyde Park welcomes dogs of all sizes with a dedicated pet concierge. Pets stay for free and will be presented with a hamper of treats upon arrival, however a deposit is required.
With their very own rescue dog, the Town Hall Hotel & Apartments in Bethnal Green, also offers a range of amenities for pets. Or if you’re budgeting, bring your pet with you to the centrally located Travelodge Hotel in London Waterloo.
Dog Friendly Dining
London isn’t short of places to eat and drink but knowing where to go with pets is key for an animal friendly experience.
Dogs can indulge in a specially formulated ‘Pooch-ini’ at one of Shake Shack’s locations while owners sample the delicious menu. If you are looking for a more formal experience, start off a lazy Sunday at Gaucho Hampstead’s Doggy Sunday Brunch. Taking place the first Sunday of every month, £5 from the £35 fee is donated to an animal charity.
Visit Maggie Jones’s, an intimate restaurant located just north of High Street Kensington. Surrounded by fresh and dried flowers this intimate dining experience is made even better with the accompaniment of man’s best friend.
While only service dogs are allowed in the top tourist attractions, there are many experiences that both you and your pet can relish in.
Don’t leave your pet out of the pampering during your London getaway and treat them to the ultimate retreat. The pet spa in Chelsea leaves pets of all kinds groomed, indulged and revitalised.
Home to the UK’s oldest animal rescues, Battersea tops the list of animal-friendly areas in the capital. With an abundance of open spaces, you and your four-legged friend will love exploring the historic grounds of the inner city park.
With resident pooches, The Society Club in Soho is a relaxing location to spend an afternoon with a canine companion. Enjoy the café, gallery, bookstore and cocktail bar at your fingertips as your pooch delights in organic dog food and liver treats on hand.
