With the Easter school holidays in full swing, now is the time to make the most of the longer days and extra hours of playtime with a trip to Scotland.

Take part in a weekend of family fun at Stirling Castle on April 15th and 16th. Located within the Castle’s majestic grounds, visitors can uncover its captivating past with a range of history, heritage and archaeology themed craft activities for the whole family to join.

While visiting the Scottish capital, explore the Edinburgh International Science Festival from April 1st to 16th. The festival hosts a calendar of engaging, hands-on workshops for people of all ages. Step back in time and make your own discoveries at the Dig Up Dinosaur workshop. You’ll learn techniques from scientists and the tools used to dig for bones and fossils. Discover one of Aberdeenshire’s hundreds of castles. Dating back beyond the 16th century, Crathes Castle and Garden is nestled in Banchory in Aberdeenshire.
